How Do I Care for My Rope Gear?

To keep your rope gear ready for every adventure, a little care goes a long way. Each piece is handcrafted with love and made to be a special part of your time outdoors. Treat it with care and it will be with you through many meaningful walks and outings.

Here are a few simple tips:

Spot clean when needed. Use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe away everyday dirt. Avoid bleach or harsh cleaners, as they can weaken the rope or damage the hardware.

Hand wash for deeper cleans. If needed, soak the gear in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent. Scrub lightly with your hands or a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly.

Air dry only. Lay flat to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated spot. Avoid dryers or direct heat sources, which can affect the rope’s durability.

Check before each use. Give your gear a quick once-over to make sure everything is secure and in good shape before heading out.
