Our Story 

I started North Tail after experiencing multiple gear failures with my own dog.

One moment changed everything. During a hike, my dog pulled and the leash snapped. She ran toward the edge of what looked like a small cliff.

Luckily, she stopped just in time. But it made me realize I needed gear I could truly trust.

That led me to climbing rope. If it is trusted to support human lives, it should be reliable enough for our dogs.

When I could not find this kind of gear locally, I decided to start making it myself.

North Tail was built from that experience and for others who want peace of mind without compromise.
