Made with high-quality climbing cord and paired with a tangle-free, auto-locking Slim Lock carabiner, it offers secure, easy control with a lighter, more comfortable feel. Handmade in Ontario, Canada, it’s crafted for everyday use with minimal bulk, while still delivering the strength and durability you expect from our climbing rope gear.

What is Climbing Cord?

Climbing cord is a lighter type of rope used in climbing for accessory purposes rather than primary load-bearing, such as tying gear, creating loops, or other support tasks.

It is made using similar materials and construction methods as climbing ropes, with a strong inner core and a durable outer sheath. All climbing cords we carefully source are produced by the same manufacturers that make professional climbing ropes and gear.

Recommended for smaller dogs up to 25 lbs (11 kg).
For stronger pullers or larger dogs, we recommend our standard rope series.

Climbing Rope
We use climbing ropes certified to UIAA/CE standards, ensuring they meet rigorous safety and quality requirements. These ropes are tested for strength, durability, and reliability, making them ideal for creating dog gear that can withstand the demands of any adventure.

Carabiner
High quality swivel aluminum carabiners with a twist-open and self-locking design. The built-in swivel keeps the leash tangle-free and ensures smooth, secure attachment. (Original 27g, Slim Lock 21g) Lightweight, durable, safe, and built for effortless everyday and trail use for you and your dog.

O Ring
Built to last with a breaking point over 1100 lb. Smooth rounded shape protects rope fibers while delivering long lasting, durable strength for every walk and trail.

How Do I Care for My Rope Gear?

To keep your rope gear ready for every adventure, a little care goes a long way. Each piece is handcrafted with love and made to be a special part of your time outdoors. Treat it with care and it will be with you through many meaningful walks and outings.

Here are a few simple tips:

Spot clean when needed. Use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe away everyday dirt. Avoid bleach or harsh cleaners, as they can weaken the rope or damage the hardware.

Hand wash for deeper cleans. If needed, soak the gear in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent. Scrub lightly with your hands or a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly.

Air dry only. Lay flat to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated spot. Avoid dryers or direct heat sources, which can affect the rope’s durability.

Check before each use. Give your gear a quick once-over to make sure everything is secure and in good shape before heading out.
