A compact version of our The Adjustable Hands-Free Leash, designed for hands-free convenience on the go. This belt is easy to put on, even over thick jackets, and allows you to attach or detach your leash in seconds. Two sliding stoppers let you adjust the belt size for a snug, secure fit. Perfect for training, everyday walks, or pairing with your favorite North Tail leash.

Sizing Note:

This belt has one carabiner at one end and an O-ring at the other, with a middle carabiner for leash attachment held between rubber stoppers. Because of this design, the belt cannot be adjusted past the leash attachment point when used in adjustable style.

Length is measured from the end of the carabiner to the end of the O-ring. For a comfortable waist fit in adjustable style, we recommend choosing a size about 5 inches(or more) longer than your waist measurement.

Crossbody use: When wearing the belt over your shoulder, you can clip the end carabiner to the O-ring and use the middle adjustable carabiner as the leash attachment point. Measure your over-the-shoulder length directly to find your best fit. If this measurement is longer than your waist measurement plus 5 inches, choose that larger size—only if you plan to use it both as an adjustable waist belt and a fixed-style crossbody.

Hardware
We use high-quality hardware, including swivel aluminum carabiners with a twist-open and self-locking design. Thanks to the swivel feature, the gear stays tangle-free while providing secure attachment and smooth operation. These carabiners are among the best options on the market. It is lightweight, durable, and designed for safety and ease of use for you and your dog.

How Do I Care for My Rope Gear?

To keep your rope gear ready for every adventure, a little care goes a long way. Each piece is handcrafted with love and made to be a special part of your time outdoors. Treat it with care and it will be with you through many meaningful walks and outings.

Here are a few simple tips:

Spot clean when needed. Use a damp cloth and mild soap to wipe away everyday dirt. Avoid bleach or harsh cleaners, as they can weaken the rope or damage the hardware.

Hand wash for deeper cleans. If needed, soak the gear in lukewarm water with a gentle detergent. Scrub lightly with your hands or a soft brush, then rinse thoroughly.

Air dry only. Lay flat to dry in a shaded, well-ventilated spot. Avoid dryers or direct heat sources, which can affect the rope’s durability.

Check before each use. Give your gear a quick once-over to make sure everything is secure and in good shape before heading out.
